So the response to the video clips that have been added to the site was 100% positive. So I am seriously considering adding my 2 cents to the "Video Lesson" bandwagon by making my own instructional video a la baddass. I have a great photographer with a rockin digital video camera.
I am thinking of doing it in two parts. Part one will cover scales (thirds & sixes), chords, apoyaturas, trinos, bellows triplets etc. etc. Part two would be some songs and how to play them.
Anyone have any suggestions of what songs I should include? I won't include Prieta Casada because I don't know the whole thing. Please also remember that I only have a GCF accordion. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Stoney

I for one would pay some mula for a Bellow's Technique Video. I understand the kewlness of BadA$$'s videos, but his videos do not show any thing with the bellows. I would love to learn some of the tricks that accordion players do with the bellows to create certain sounds.

I remember when I started playing the accordion, I bought like 3 videos, and none of them really helped me out... none of them caught me scales, or any techniques, they just kinda taught you songs... The Flaco Jimenez video I bought, I didn't really like... I learned almost nothing that I couldn't figure out by myself. Most of the videos go like this "Hi my name is Jose... and I've been playing since I was 7... I've met Ramon Ayala, blah, blah, blah... he really inspires alot of accordionist... blah, blah, blah... here's how you play this song... blah, blah... here's some more songs... and I don't want to show off, because I want to keep my own techniques and not share it..." This video, if made, Stoney, has everything I wanted to know when I started... I say go for it, not just for your benifits of becoming rich, but also, to teach what everyone wants to know...
