As many of you here know, I have been working towards going into sales. I made a connection with Peter Williams who distributes the Rossetti accordions and after a long time exchanging e mails finally got an EAD Rossetti 1 from him last week. Well, unfortunately Canadian Customs nailed me for $105 extra and this puts the possibility of distributing accordions out of the question. There would be no profit in it once you add this estra tax to the price of the accordions. But at least now I have another accordion. I can finally give an opinion on this box. First off, the bellows was slow as hell so I took out the bass reeds. There were a few squeeks that I took care of with a little sewing machine oil. The buttons are too flat. The sound is good, loud and it has a great clack clack like the old time Hohners. What amazes me is the little things that they do right and wrong on this box. For example, the adjustable bass side strap. Couldn't they include that on the Chinese hohners? Overall I stand by the original evaluation on the buyers guide which gives this box a 3.5 out of 5. If Hohner made the Panther in EAD I would have one of those but since they don't, the Rossetti is a good substitute. Stoney
